また、観光地化された（入場料が必要な）水上マーケットとは違い、地元の人々も通うマーケットなのでローカルな雰囲気を味わうこともできます。

ボートツアーは観光客向けのようですが、一人100B（360円くらい）で1時間20分ほどのコースなど、リーズナブルに楽しむことができるのでお勧めです。

マーケット内は屋台も多く、いろんな食べ物を体験することもできます。ただ人がかなり多いのでゆったりと時間の余裕を持って行くことをお勧めします。

行き方：地下鉄（MRT）ラックソン駅（終点）の改札から左に降りて（出て）、戻ったところのバス停から146バスに乗車。降りるバス停は下記のタイ語を車掌さんに見せて確認してください。バスを下車したら陸橋があるので渡って水上マーケットの方へ。途中警備員が立っているソンテウ乗り場があるので、そこから乗車すると数分（8B）。徒歩だと20分程度。
