1. About “Chinese restaurant Iwaen”
The Chinese restaurant “Iwaen” in the business district in front of Hakata Station is a restaurant that is easy for tourists to visit as it is located about a 5-minute walk from Hakata Station.
Most of the lunch customers are businessmen in suits, and after lunch time (12:00), they are almost full.
Popular menus are “Sichuan Dandan Noodles” and “Mapo Fried Rice”. It seems to be two major specialties of this restaurant.
This time I ordered Mapo Fried Rice!
I was surprised at the amount of the dishes that were brought in! The amount that has filled the stomach of Businessman!
The fried rice is not stick together, but it’s chewy, and it’s a simple seasoning that goes well with mapo tofu.
Mapo tofu is spicy with plenty of minced meat.
I thought it was very spicy because it was Sichuan, but I don’t feel the spiciness so much because I can feel the taste and sweetness of the meat. However, as I continue to eat, my mouth becomes tingling, so it’s definitely the spiciness of Sichuan.
The black pork dumplings are also large in size and have plenty of gravy. When you put it in your mouth, the scent of ginger spreads.
Chinese food that you can eat full at a reasonable price! Why don’t you try eating when you visit Hakata Station?

2. 中国料理 頤和園（いわえん）について
博多駅前のビジネス街にある中国料理屋「頤和園（いわえん）」さんは、博多駅から徒歩5分くらいの場所に位置するので観光客にも訪れやすいレストランです。
店内は丸テーブル、奥には座敷があります。
ランチの客層はスーツを着たビジネスマンがほとんどという感じで、ランチタイム（12時）を過ぎるとほとんど満席です。
人気メニューは、「四川担担麺」と「麻婆炒飯」。頤和園さんの2大名物のようです。
今回は麻婆炒飯を注文！
運ばれてきた皿を見て、その量にびっくり！サラリーマンの胃袋を満たしてきた量です！
単品で黒豚シューマイまで注文してしまったことをちょっと後悔しちゃいました（笑）
麻婆炒飯（スープ付）900 JPY
チャーハンは、パラっとしているけどパラパラではなくパラモチって感じ。麻婆豆腐に合うようにシンプルなチャーハンです。
麻婆豆腐はひき肉がたっぷりでピリ辛。四川だからすごくカライのかと思ったけど、肉の旨味と甘さも感じられるからカラサがあんまり感じません。ただ、食べ進めるとやっぱり口の中がヒリヒリしてくるから、しっかり四川のカラサです。
黒豚シューマイも大きなサイズで、肉汁たっぷり。口の中に入れると生姜の香りが広がります。肉肉しくてボリュームたっぷりです。
リーズナブルな価格でお腹いっぱい食べれる中国料理！博多駅へ訪れる際には食べて訪れてみてはいかがですか。
